From 8th October 2025 onwards, all visa applications must be submitted

through e-Visa system. Applicants are no longer required to submit passports

and supporting documents in person at the Royal Thai Embassy/ 

Consulate-General. It's important to note that the application is based on

your current location which means that you are only eligible to apply at

the Thai Embassy in Kuala Lumpur, Thai Consulate in Penang or Kota Bharu

if you are in Malaysia. The visa takes around 5-7 days to process. Unless the 

officers require additional documents which the 5-7 days will be counted 

starting from the additional documents are submitted. After the visa has been

approved, a confirmation e-mail will be sent to applicants which can be printed

for presenting to Thai Immigration officials when traveling to Thailand. For more
