เมื่อวันที่ 6 ตุลาคม 2569 นายพสุศิษฏ์ วงศ์สุรวัฒน์ กงสุลใหญ่ ณ เมืองปีนัง ให้การต้อนรับ ดร. Lee Eng Wah ประธานสมาคม Penang Chinese Entrepreneurs Association (CEAP) พร้อมคณะ ที่สถานกงสุลใหญ่ฯ โดย CEAP ได้แนะนำบทบาทและการดำเนินงานขององค์กร พร้อมทั้งมอบวารสาร “Qinghang” ฉบับพิเศษ และ “Qinghang Chinese Business Pulse” เพื่อเป็นข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับองค์กรและเครือข่ายสมาชิกขององค์กร นอกจากนี้ ทั้งสองฝ่ายได้หารือแลกเปลี่ยนข้อคิดเห็นเกี่ยวกับแนวทางส่งเสริมความร่วมมือระหว่างภาคธุรกิจไทยกับผู้ประกอบการรัฐปีนัง โดย CEAP ให้ความสนใจในประเด็นการค้า การลงทุน โดยเฉพาะในเรื่องการเป็นเจ้าของธุรกิจของนักธุรกิจมาเลเซียในไทย การศึกษา และความเชื่อมโยง ในโอกาสนี้ กงสุลใหญ่ฯ ได้แสดงความพร้อมที่จะสนับสนุนความร่วมมือระหว่างสมาชิก CEAP กับภาคธุรกิจและหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องของไทย เพื่อส่งเสริมความร่วมมือทางเศรษฐกิจระหว่างไทยกับปีนังให้แน่นแฟ้นยิ่งขึ้น

The Penang Chinese Entrepreneurs Association paid a courtesy call on the Consul-General of Thailand in Penang.
On 6 October 2026, Mr. Psusist Wongsurawat, Consul-General of Thailand in Penang, welcomed Dr. Lee Eng Wah, President of the Penang Chinese Entrepreneurs Association (CEAP), and his delegation at the Royal Thai Consulate-General. During the visit, CEAP representatives outlined the association's roles and operations and presented the special edition of the "Qinghang" journal and "Qinghang Chinese Business Pulse" to provide information about the organization and its member network. Additionally, both parties exchanged views on ways to foster cooperation between the Thai business sector and entrepreneurs in Penang. CEAP focuses on trade and investment particularly Malaysian business ownership in Thailand as well as education and connectivity. On this occasion, the Consul General expressed readiness to support collaboration between CEAP members and Thai business sectors and relevant agencies, aiming to further strengthen economic cooperation between Thailand and Penang.
