วิทยา ผู้ปฏิบัติด้านกระบวนการยุติธรรม ผู้บังคับใช้กฎหมาย ตลอดจนผู้สนใจทั่วไป และสื่อ

จากหลายประเทศในภูมิภาคเอเชียและนานาชาติเข้าร่วมการประชุมประกอบด้วยการบรรยาย

พิเศษ การนำเสนอผลงานวิจัย และการประชุมกลุ่มย่อยในหัวข้อต่าง ๆ เพื่อแลกเปลี่ยนองค์

ความรู้และประสบการณ์ด้านอาชญาวิทยาและกระบวนการยุติธรรม รวมถึงการบังคับใช้

กฎหมาย ในบริบทที่เปลี่ยนแปลงไปและความท้าทายที่มีพัฒนาการอย่างรวดเร็วจากการใช้

เทคโนโลยีสมัยใหม่ โดยเฉพาะ AI มีประเด็นที่น่าสนใจ อาทิ การป้องกันและปราบปราม

อาชญากรรมไซเบอร์และอาชญากรรมข้ามชาติรูปแบบใหม่ กระบวนการยุติธรรมเชิง

สมานฉันท์ นิติเวชศาสตร์สมัยใหม่

การประชุมนี้นับเป็นเวทีสำคัญในการแลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้ระหว่างภาคส่วนที่เกี่ยวข้องจากหลาย

ประเทศ ทั้งนักวิชาการ ผู้กำหนดนโยบาย และผู้ปฏิบัติงานจริง ซึ่งนอกจากจะช่วยเสริมสร้าง

ความร่วมมือทางวิชาการแล้ว ยังมุ่งหวังจะนำเสนอแนวทางการพัฒนาเชิงนโยบายด้าน

อาชญาวิทยา การยกระดับกระบวนการยุติธรรมและกระบวนการบังคับใช้กฎหมาย เพื่อให้

สอดคล้องกับความท้าทายใหม่ โดยมีเป้าหมายสูงสุดอยู่ที่การธำรงไว้ซึ่งสังคมที่มีความ

ยุติธรรมและปลอดภัยสำหรับทุกคน

The Royal Thai Consulate-General in Penang participated in the 17th Asian Criminological Society Conference 2026

Mr. Psusist Wongsurawat, Consul-General of Thailand in Penang, along with Ms.

Papharida Sukprasert and Ms. Roseeda Chelong, local staff, attended the 17th

Asian Criminological Society Conference 2026, held from 15-17 July 2026, at the

G Hotel Gurney, Penang. The conference, organized by the Asian Criminological

Society in collaboration with the Centre for Policy Research, Universiti Sains

Malaysia, brought together experts, academics, researchers, criminologists, justice

system practitioners, law enforcement officers, as well as members of the public

and media from various Asian countries and internationally.

The conference included keynote lectures, research presentations, and breakout

sessions on various topics to exchange knowledge and experiences in criminology,

the justice system, and law enforcement, in the context of changing circumstances

and rapidly evolving challenges arising from the use of modern technology,

particularly AI. Topics of interest included the prevention and suppression of

cybercrime and emerging forms of transnational crime, restorative justice

processes, and modern forensic science.

The conference serves as a crucial platform for knowledge sharing among relevant

stakeholders from multiple countries, including academics, policymakers, and

practitioners. Beyond strengthening academic collaboration, it aims to present

policy approaches in criminology, enhance the justice system and law enforcement

processes to address emerging challenges, with the ultimate goal of maintaining

a just and safe society for all.
