แสดงความยินดีในพิธีเปิดร้าน The Thai Café and Restaurant สาขา 2 (by the sea) ซึ่งตั้งอยู่

ภายในโครงการ Queens Waterfront โดยกงสุลใหญ่ฯ ภริยา และรองกงสุลใหญ่ฯ ได้ร่วมตัดริบบิ้น

เปิดร้านอย่างเป็นทางการและชมการแสดงเชิดสิงโตเพื่อความเป็นสิริมงคล ท่ามกลางแขกผู้มีเกียรติกว่า

The Thai Café and Restaurant, second branch

On 27 April, 2026, Mr. Psusist Wongsurawat, Consul-General of Thailand in

Penang, along with his spouse, Mrs. Suchaya Wongsurawat, the Deputy

Consul-General, officials, and staff from the Royal Thai Consulate-General in

Penang, attended the grand opening ceremony of The Thai Café and Restaurant,

Second Branch (by the sea) at the Queens Waterfront. The Consul-General, his

spouse, and the Deputy Consul-General participated in the ribbon-cutting

ceremony for the official opening and enjoyed a lion dance performance for good

fortune, in the presence of over 100 distinguished guests.

The Consul-General, on behalf of the Consulate-General, presented flowers to

congratulate Ms. Pattrawadee Chawsaun, owner and manager of the restaurant,

on the expansion to a second branch. This reflects the potential and continued

growth of Thai service businesses in Penang. The first branch of The Thai Café

and Restaurant has received Thai SELECT certification, a Thai mark of quality for

Thai restaurants abroad. One of the key selling points of The Thai Café and

Restaurant is that it is pet-friendly, perfectly catering to the growing lifestyle of

this consumer group.
